Investment Auditing - Advertising (ATL)

We audit the client investment at each step of the advertising process, while building a data bank with the historical investment and media negotiation, adjusting the process to the operational structure of the client.

Consolidation of Advertising Data

The client has immediate access to its advertising investment data through the MS Portal, which keeps all historical information which allows prompt inquiries and building of reports by the marketing, procurement and financial areas.

Negotiation

All media negotiation are revised as to discount percentages and contract conditions submitted by the agencies/medium. MS presents recommendation for its improvement based on market information. The negotiation process is centralized in the MS Portal, assuring full transparency of the process, from the initial medium proposal to the final approval. The Cliente has access to the historical discount levels and payment terms of all media participating in each campaign.

Control of Annual Expenditures

MS controls media orders vs media budget approved by the client for each campaing. All program prices in the media orders are checked vs negotiated costs.

Complete Checking of Media Orders (Eletronically /Proof of Evidence)

We check each and all media orders issued by agencies for off-line and on-line media vs monitoring institutes data and proof of evidence attached to the invoices.

Invoice Checking/Interface to Client System

All agency /medium invoices related advertising and production expenses are checked on by-document basis, to confirm whether all expenses and taxes are supported by proof of evidence. Expenses without proof of evidence or submitted with errors are immediately returned to the agency, awaiting for credit note or invoice deduction. The credit obtained is returned to the annual budget for future re-utilization. Invoices checked and validated by Media Systems are interfaced to the accounts payable/accounting systems of the client, classified in accordance with the financial structure previously defined.

Reporting via MS Portal

The MS Portal registers all information received from multi-agencies related to the advertising investment of the client, for the month-end and annual closing, in accordance with the information structure defined by the client.

Results

We demonstrate in the portal the result of the auditing of agencies/medium, comparing the cost avoidance obtained vs the advertising invested amount, through the monthly divergency report.
